Tenkiller Ferry Reservoir is an Army Corps of Engineers lake. It is part of the Illinois River and offers floating restaurants, campgrounds, fishing, scuba diving and swimming.

The two bedroom one bath house and hangar are matching metal buildings erected in l997 on a .8 acre lot which borders the 2600' county owned grass strip on one side and a county road on the other side. The house is a wood frame building inside the 30' x 40' metal building; walls are about a foot thick and insulated; gas central heating and air-conditioning and cooking. There is a 10' garage door which faces the street; it has a keypad and remote opener. The one piece hangar door is 42' x 13' and was built and installed by Edwards Doors of Owasso OK. This large door faces the runway. There is a 42' x 30' cement ramp in front of the hangar.
